This style of art I came across in one of my classes in college. It is called stipling and a less used style. The artwork was created without any pre-sketch markings. I used a sharpie pen and created the entire piece with a million dots. The dots are spread out based on the gray scale coloring you want to apply. It takes an enourmous amount of time and focus. I have made a few of the pieces and find much enjoyment in the style. This was done on bristol board.
